I'm feeling in a bit of a funk since Sunday and can't seem to get
myself out. This is not normal for me and I don't like it one bit. I
don't have much to say right now because my mind is in a jumbled mess.
I hope soon I can get it all written down and it all washes away.
I am trying to read your blogs and comment where I can so I am not
totally lost in the abyss. :)
You guys motivate me !

Hang in there. I think some days are less inspired than others....It is good that you walked today -that helps to get the energy moving. My husband works for vmware - he started their social media program and works in the communities area - he also does a podcast on Wednesdays for IT people. I do technical recruiting and try to keep up with some of the companies in the valley. I hope your back is feeling better. You are an inspiration to me Sandra. You have come so far from your before pic! Hang in there, the motivation will come back. Have a good eve!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling a common trend amongst the bloggers me included, it's the time of year! be gentle on yourself, one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteSandra, as Kat and Syl have already said, we all go through these times. Just keep your chin up - you will be out of the funk soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon sandra! Hang in there. It's cold here too.
ReplyDeleteugh, ready for tahiti or something.
You know what I keep thinking? "Aww We Need the Funk, Gotta Have That Funk!" Remember that song? Or am I dating myself. Hang in there baby, don't isolate yourself, and just keep looking up and forward, it will be okay.
ReplyDeleteI am in a bit of a funk this week too. I am so hungry and I am trying to keep the wolves at bay. Still not cheated but I hate this always hungry feeling. We can do it!Encouragement from me to you.
ReplyDeletePlease hang in there..I can't tell you the amount of times I felt similarly!! It will pass...go back and read your very first blog/post - that always helped me!! Keep pushing and thank you for stopping by my blog and the nice comments!! Much appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteThis fitness business is about developing new relationships-- with food, with movement, with ourselves. Like any relationship, it's going to have its ups and downs. The consuming romance and passion we feel in the beginning of a relationship cannot be consistently maintained-- we'd burn out. Life and everything else has its ups and downs and so does this.
ReplyDeleteI think sometimes we need a break from the emotional and physical intensity of what we're doing. We haven't lost our motivation, just giving it a rest so we can come back fresh and powerful.
