I’m going to submit a couple of pictures to Andra on living a healthy lifestyle and this morning, before I juiced my wheatgrass and veggies, I took a picture.
Then I had to go to the washroom and when I came out, I found this:
She is such a brat these days but Oh so cute!
Her Mohawk is sort of coming back after the summer shave.
So back to regularly scheduled stuff:
Saturday:
- 60 minutes of treadmill
- 30 minutes of core work and stretches
- Food was around 1800 and that did include 4 bud lite beers. And I’m OK with that.
I had a nice day cleaning and organizing yesterday all to myself. I had the music playing loud and just did my thing. My back is sore today because of the core work I did yesterday AND I really never sit down all day until dinner. I work pretty hard on the weekends and considering I sit on my butt M-F, it is no wonder my body gets a little sore. Ron bugs me all the time because he says I don’t know how to relax – I don’t or rather I choose not to. I like to keep busy. If I don’t then I get the munchies – it’s called boredom.
The lazy lady cabbage rolls were a hit and they tasted very good and very filling. I will post the recipe as soon as I get it typed out. I have a HP Netbook where I am typing now but my recipe program won’t load on here so I have to do it on another PC and the boy is that room sleeping. I’ll get it out tomorrow. I estimated on the calories in my Fitday for yesterdays meal so hopefully I’m not out too much.
And it was very very very hard not to get on the scale today. Good thing I moved it out of the bathroom yesterday :)
I hope everyone is having a FANTASTIC day.

I'm looking forward to the cabbage recipe. And your "brat" is indeed a cutie.
ReplyDeleteYour workouts are killer. I'd been in a puddle on the floor begging for an Aleve drip.
How funny, I notice the dog didn't eat it lol.
ReplyDeletehmmm.
Can't wait for the cabbage roll recipe.

I LOVE your blog--especially your title! I use a Vitamix for my wheatgrass, collard leaf, kale leaf and chard leaf drink. I juice my carrots in an Acme and add that juice to the Vitamix, along with a couple bananas, a couple cups blueberries, and a couple fresh oranges. I also add 2 Tbsp golden flaxseed and some Spirulina powder and top it all off with some frozen juice concentrate. YUMMY! Anyway, in my job for a cooking software company I study blogs and one of the happy parts of this assignment is finding great sites like yours. I am so glad I found this! Since I work for the company, I finally decided to try their product (DUH!) and it is amazing—it’s saved me so much time and money already! Without sounding like an infomercial, I wanted to tell you about their recipe organizer that’s made my menu planning and weight management super easy. FINALLY I can find what I need, when I need it, without having to scour through boatloads of recipes and books! (I’ve included the link in case you are interested.) Lastly, thanks so much for a great blog—I love your information!
