Perfect 10 Wk 3 Update

I didn’t get to go to Yoga last night and talk about disappointed. It really affected me because I was looking forward to it all day. I was to go with my co-worker and she drives and parks her car downtown. So at 3:20 she told me she won’t be able to go and since the class started at 4, there was no way I could have made it on time. I have a 40 minute train ride and a 20 minute walk so I have to leave work pretty early to get there on time. There are two more classes after 4, but I had other commitments last night that prevented that…
So Thursdays stats:
  • 0 exercise (again)
  • Calories at 1500 – I needed 200 more.
  • No booze
P10 Update:
  • Log my Food
    • Yes I did this every day – even the bad stuff. I still had my calories pretty low though. Next week I am going to concentrate on getting in 1700 Calories per day and increase my protein a bit.

  • Lose 10 lbs
    • I was very good and did not weigh myself all week. As of today I am up .6 lbs. After the week I had, I'm actually happy it is only .6lbs.

  • Exercise min 5x week
    • I did not do so good with this one. I worked out Sat/Sun/Tuesday this week. I put in a lot of hours on the weekend, but did not do good during the week. Things just didn’t seem to go in my favour – including my plans to go to Yoga last night.
      • 90 minutes of Hot Yoga
      • 120 minutes of Cardio
      • 60 minutes of Strength/Core training.

  • Schedule 1 (ONE) Cheat day
    • We all know that I had a few of these this week. Lots more than 1

  • Complete 1 "Modified" 7-day Total Cleanse
    • Still working on this one.

All in all, I could have done a whole lot better this week. I will focus on getting the food on track and pick up the exercise for next week.
Something you don’t know about me:
I used to raise Alpaca’s (12 of them)P1000054 on 25 acres south of my City.

Mvc-006f

And 15 Llama’s
(dat’s fat me)

P1000405

New baby llama

P1000545
and a LOT of  free range laying chickens. Some didn’t lay in the coop and I would find eggs everywhere. They were so yellow and good.

I miss the life but I also worked full time 60 minutes away in the center of the city. Some days it took me 90 minutes driving one way just to get to work. Winter was worse and I Hated the winter driving. Eventually it became very stressful, our marriage broke down and we sold the acreage and went our separate ways.
I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC day and make good choices.

  3. Next time tell your coworker that you need more notice than that so that you can go! Overall still a good week for you, including getting back on track. I am totally a city girl but I appreciate you farmers!

  4. I did Helen, this morning when she came by I said "if you change your mind today, please let me know by 2:00 because I'm going one way or another today". She understands it's important to me.... :)
I'm a city/outdoorsy kind of girl. The acreage was a lot of work when you also hold a 7-4 full time job M-F. A lot of things can fall behind because of all the work with animals etc. We also had 5 dogs, 3 million cats (ok, only 2 indoor, the rest were wild but they seemed to love hiding in our barns). A garden in the summer and chickens. But you couldn't beat the view - I had a hilltop view of the mountains. I'll post a sunset picture one day. It could also be very peaceful there.

  5. Thanks for the nice comment on my blog today Sandra. This is my first time to your blog and I love that I showed up to find out you use to raise llamas. I loved seeing all the pictures too. Looks like you've made great progress for yourself.

  6. Hi Sandra - Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting, and nudging me over to yours. It does look like we had a similar week, though I wish my loss was only .6! Ha - it's all relative, I know. And it's not everyday you meet an ex-alpaca farmer! Very cool! I'll be checking back in to see how you're doing, and for some inspiration!

  7. Alpacas! Very cool. I bet that was a lot of work combined with working a full time job and commuting! Have a great yoga session this afternoon. I am working on "project healthy weekend", feel free to ping me if you need any support this weekend.
